For the past 10 years, we have been working to improve the recreation facilities at Feinberg Park (not the campsite) and make it a place all the residents can enjoy. We are focused on getting families active together! We currently have a tennis court, a basketball court, an updated playground with more being added, ball fields and an exercise station. We are now looking to add a walking path.
1. Your donation will go towards
* the digging of the path around the ball fields,
* the install of gravel,
* the install of the pavement once the path is completed.
2. With your help, our project will positively impact the health of all residents in the Town of Altona and
* help reduce student and adult obesity rates,
* promote active and healthy lifestyles for all ages and reduce incidences of chronic disease,
* build a happier and healthy community.

During our fundraiaser, we will be hosting events to engage our community, please watch for such events!
Once we have raised the needed funds we will be able to have the walking path installed.
why we're doing it
Feinberg Park is all our Town has for recreation and with our rural location driving 30 miles one way to use facilities is not always ans option. It is important to us to make our Park the best we can. In turn creating healthier lifestyles and a community that comes together.
