About the project
2020 has been a nightmare for low income workers, the recent unemployed and those facing eviction.
The uncertainty of our future is scary and has frozen most people into despair. November 3rd provides Manchester Growing Together Farm an opportunity to reach out to those afraid.
Afraid because of the impact of coronavirus, afraid because they are isolated, afraid because resources are becoming low and afraid because of the unknown.
We are here to provide hope and encouragement to come into community and realize they are not alone. We encourage our neighbors to rise above the despair and exercise their civic duty of voting. And while they are waiting to vote to have opportunity (while practicing creative ways of social distancing) to hear and respond to their immediate needs.
By providing meaningful conversation over a free meal while also providing and sharing resources, we serve our neighbors where they are at.
The Steps
These funds will support feeding neighbors while they are in line at the polls on November 3rd.
Why we‘re doing it
