About the project
We are hoping to get a new home for our organization coming into a new year, with new goals and new ideas on how we can better serve our communities. We want to help keep our families safe from COVID by being frontline and servicing all in need. A new place will allow us to store donated items to distribute on Essential Saturdays, we will be able to have a physical place for people to go get help, resources, and job opportunities. Our goal is to strengthen our communities by being leaders and helping those in need.
The Steps
Pay rent and deposit
clean up and repairs
obtain signage for display
purchase furniture/office supplies for location
(fax machine, table, chairs, computer, desk, shelves for storage if items, etc.)
Have a grand opening and supply marketing material to introduce neighbors to our new location.
Give weekly updates to our donors to show the success of project execution.
Why we‘re doing it
Covid-19 has put us in a position to help out our neighbors but also we have maxed out on space and time availability. Having a space will allow us to meet the needs of people on their schedules as well as give us space to better serve and manage donations.
Our mission is to be able to help our city to grow and bring residents to a place that is here for the people. To help our organization grow further than where we are now we need a standing space. We may, as we grow, need to hire individuals to help us with certain projects.
