About the project
Through interesting art classes and education on types of art, eras, and artists, we intend to serve and supply fathers of our community with an opportunity to bond and have fun with art. These classes are designed for all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to provide meaningful activities and awesome learning experiences!
We want dads to take advantage of the time to connect and bond with fellow fathers in the community. Our targeted audience is at-risk community members and their impressionable young sons. This event is open to dads, uncles, grandfathers, brothers, and other male role models who would like to do something inspiring and positive for our youth.

Why we‘re doing it
Our program services families who have been affected by incarceration and other at-risk families in our community. Through this project, we focus on bringing fathers closer to their sons with quality time in a relaxed setting. Creating something together gives skills and lessons for a lifetime, even making their own history together! Our goal is to bring fathers back into the community in a different capacity and a new presence.
We aim to inspire men in the community to use this project as a welcome distraction to the long-term effects of the pandemic, daily stresses, and increasing violence in our city. We encourage fathers to take on this class with their children, grandchildren, siblings, parents, etc., making it a memorable experience they will be proud of!
