the project

COVID-19 Masks are masks with filters designed by Pearlina Story Nelson a nurse to help protect against the Coronavirus.  The masks filter provides extra protection against the attack of the virus.  There is Teen Works, New Voices and Pittsburgh Positive Young People Association and etc... who has volunteered their time and resources since March 31st, 2020 to supply masks to the public.  To try to stop the spread of the virus is protection for all. Renee Wilson, Pearlina Story Nelson and Anita Drummond is working hard to make sure that everyone gets a Covid-19 Mask for protection.

When a mask is ordered, you're helping a tean have employment and learn economic and social skills. We're training teens to make these masks, giving our young people work during COVID.

the steps

The team will train more people, buy sewing machines, materials, and deliver the masks to the public.  The team started March 31st, 2020 and our resources is very thin with donations we could emerge more on Pittsburgh and give out literature and more masks to fight this virus.  We all must work together to save life!

why we're doing it

Covid-19 Masks helps to slow down the transmission of the Coronavirus, it has a filter and can be washed and ironed.  This mask can be worn over and over again and still protect against the virus.  Our teams motivation is to save as many lives as possible and as fast as possible.
