The Steps
In 2019, we hope to see youth more involved, more present and persistently capturing what is happening in the community. We plan to engage an even broader community by leveraging the social media platforms available to us. Youth will be self-directed and highly visible in the Hazelwood Community, and the Youth Justice program will work towards becoming an increasingly viable and sustainable local led news source. If we are able to reach our fundraising goal. Starting on March 5th, we can continue to :
- Provide stipends for youth apprentices. ($500 per youth)
- Pay a local artist to conduct classes in Hazelwood and drive work forward.
- Purchase two Mac air books.
- Pay for Adobe Cloud.
