Thank You!

the project

We have completed our 3rd successful year growing organic produce for donation to the Mid South Food Bank! We donated our highest volume of veggies this year, and we can't wait to grow more!! The Community Table Garden is now looking to 2017, and making plans for our 4th year of growing. We would like to raise funds to build 3-6 new garden beds, make several improvements and repairs, and to purchase and design a website to help spread the story of the work of the garden! Please Help us reach our goal!

the steps

Purchase compost to amend 15 existing garden beds & build soil back up, purchase cinder blocks and soil for 3-6 new garden beds to expand our growing space, and purchase a domain and design of a website for the garden to further help spread the story of the garden and increase our community support.

why we're doing it

The Mid South Food Bank pantry is always in need of healthier food options for the communities they serve, as the cheapest food options are often not the healthier options. We aim to bridge the gap between the growing trend of focusing on healthier organic produce, and access to this produce for the community's most vulnerable residents. The Community Table Garden believes that EVERYONE should have access to clean, safe, healthy food, regardless of their income or socioeconomic status.
