About the project
My love and passion for the arts began as a little girl. The beauty of imagination has the power to change lives. Cleveland Art Week and Our Family Creative Kits were created to impact lives and build a supportive community for artists. We have been a platform for emerging and established creatives wanting to showcase their artwork and a bridge uniting various cultures. In addition, it is a week where families can disconnect from technology and connect through the world of ingenuity. Art is everything. And we are proud to be a premier community event where people and repeat attendees from all over Northeast Ohio come out to celebrate creativity. It has been rewarding to help keep the art alive through our Annual events and other programs.

Why we‘re doing it
As COVID-19 continues to put the world on pause, the need for creativity continues to grow. This pandemic has caused individuals and families to adjust to a new way of living. In an effort to help families alleviate stress during this crisis, we will continue to provide Our Family Creative Intro Kit to those in need. Each box will contain a different activity for the family to explore their creativity while creating bonding memories. Instructions and much more will be included. In addition, we continue to host our Annual Cleveland Art Week and Painting in the Park event which celebrates the diversity of creativity.
Now more than ever, it’s imperative for families to be creative. The value of Art is essential and has the power to positively impact lives. Unfortunately, art programs are one of the first programs to be cut due to lack of funding. Local community and national programs are in constant jeopardy of being drastically cut or eliminated. Our community events highlight the importance of the arts and creativity. Here are some major benefits that art provides:
* Healing
* Exploration
* Expanded Imagination
* Reduced stress and anxiety
* Community and Family Unity
* Relaxation
* Expression
* Confidence
* Freedom
We will continue planting seeds of love, hope, and creativity. Thank you for helping us Keep Art Alive.
