the project

Cleveland Art Week was created to celebrate the diversity of art.  From Sunday to Saturday, families will be able to participate in various activities that will inspire, educate and support the art community.  It is a week of artistic expression for emerging artists and the entire family.  Since 2014, we have had the pleasure of being a place where friends connect, and family bonding occurs through various art forms.

The value of Art is essential and has the power to positively impact lives.  Unfortunately, art programs are one of the first programs to be cut due to lack of funding. Local community and national programs are in constant jeopardy of being drastically cut or eliminated.  Our community events highlight the importance of the arts.  We are a premier place for families to attend that may have limited resources. Here are some major benefits that art provides:

* Healing

* Exploration

* Expanded Imagination

* Reduced stress and anxiety

* Community and Family Unity

* Relaxation

* Expression

* Confidence

* Freedom

We will continue planting seeds of love, hope, and creativity.  Thank you for helping us Keep Art Alive.

why we're doing it

My love and passion for the arts began as a little girl.  The beauty of imagination has the power to change lives.  Cleveland Art Week was created to impact lives through the art of creativity and build a supportive community for artists.  Since its inception, we have been a platform for new artists wanting to showcase their artwork and a bridge uniting various cultures.  In addition, it is a week where families can disconnect from technology and connect through the world of ingenuity.   Art is everything.  And we are proud to be a premier community event where people and repeat attendees from all over Northeast Ohio come out to celebrate creativity.  It has been rewarding to help keep art alive through our Annual events and other programs.
