To install trash receptacles in targeted areas of the community where there is excess litter. The Orange Mound Veterans Association will purchase and prepare the receptacles and install them. Melrose High School Art and Red Zone students will paint pictures on each receptacle. The desired outcome will be to encourage citizens to keep Orange Mound Clean and hold each other responsible to throw away trash.

why we're doing it
I am concerned about blight on the streets of our community. I live in the community and want to see a clean neighborhood.
