the project
Decorating the front of our new community resource center with authentic railroad metal to resemble a railroad passenger platform
the steps
1. contract with artist for conceptualize 2. contact local railroad as a resource for genuine parts 3. provide drawing 4. fabricate and install
why we're doing it
Boston Street is a blighted street we are seeking to transform into an inspirational corridor for children on their way through local rr tunnel to their elementary school. The rr gave our community it's name at our birth in 1910-the Belt Line. Building on this existing foundation theme helps provide our neighborhood with identity.
