the project
- We are providing programing for youth in the Greater Cleveland Area starting with by distribute 150 bookbags filled with art kits, goal setting workbooks, and PPE.
- Captivating Bliss is a virtual experience utilizing varied art forms to empower, support, and educate the Greater Cleveland area.
- The program is rooted in the healing, communicative, and powerful nature of creative expression.
- The program will equip the participants with materials, a space to create (virtually), and community resources. This is all done in the effort to use the arts for self-exploration of their world and communicating their views to the world.

- Enroll young people ages 14-21 through partnerships with schools and other organizations serving young people
- Disperse Art Materials
- Upload YouTube Content with local artists giving hands-on tutorials
- Hold Monthly Zoom sessions to provide an avenue to share the art they have created
why we're doing it
- Elements of Internal Movement is an artistically driven non-profit organization that combines the priority of wellness, creative expression, and community to foster personal and community transformation. Personal and community transformation is measured by the thriving of individuals and in turn the communities they reside in.
- Due to Covid-19 we are tasked with moving programming from in person sessions within institutions to a virtual platform.
- The Urgency for this art group stems from the traumas related to Covid-19 and social unrest. The social-ecological environment that young people around the world are living in has an impact on each individual.
- Due to racial disparities, individuals on the eastside of Cleveland are especially vulnerable to these ecological factors. Captivating Bliss will meet the social, emotional, and physical wellness needs of the young on the eastside of Cleveland.
- It is the inclusiveness, coping qualities, and empowering nature of artist exploration of the arts that makes it most effective.
