About the project
Children with autism need support 365 days a year. They need extra help navigating online instructions and learning. Like all of us, they need someone to care. For the last eight years, Brighter Future Charity has been making a difference for those with autism and now we’re raising $200,000 with the support of generous donors like you, so that we can provide 365 days of support, 300 hours supervised community support, and 12 days of direct support even during COVID-19 for each student in our program. Join us in our campaign to be a friend to those who need it most. Go to help http://brighterfuturecharity.org/ today and donate now and thank you for being a friend!
The Steps
Once funded, our team at Brighter Future Charity (BFC) will be able to support twenty more students through our existing program, Brighter Friendships! The Brighter Friendships program is already set to add additional students once we have the support, so our start date depends on the generous support from our donors. Our goal at BFC is to expand our program by 2021, but with your help, we may be able to launch sooner.
First, BFC will be bringing on additional ABA trained therapists, to help manage the increase in support needed for additional students. Second, the BFC organization would increase our support capacity for information and resources provided to students and parents who aren't able to participate currently in our live events. Lastly, we would expand our partnership with the State and Counties to provide inclusive events for both our students and the local communities.
Why we‘re doing it
Brighter Future Charity promotes the unconditional acceptance of individuals on the autism spectrum in all communities. This includes both self-acceptance and social acceptance. We work to provide enriched opportunities and meaningful experiences to individuals on the autism spectrum in their communities. We dedicate ourselves to inspire others to welcome all communities and believe all individuals on the spectrum have a gift to share with the world. We strive to empower individuals on the autism spectrum to achieve their highest quality of life: emotionally, physically, socially, and financially. Lastly, Brighter Future Charity fosters inclusivity amongst all communities and provides individuals on the autism spectrum to share in life experiences and make lasting relationships in their communities. We believe through the support and inclusion of all communities, our participants thrive. Therefore, our participants have more opportunities to develop and implement new skills while making new friendships.
