Bike advocacy Petcha Kucha based on best presentations of the National Bike Summit!
Help NYC learn about the best stuff that happened at the National Bike Summit from March 20 to 22, 2012.
About the project
I’m a passionate advocate for biking in New York City. I use my bike for basic transportation needs and I know that there are hundreds of other people in this city – young and old – who view their bike as their primary vehicle.
We want to learn all of the best ways to continue to make New York the best bike city it can be by learning from the best presentations of the National Bike Summit. That's why we are asking people who attended the Bike Summit to represent the best ideas back here in New York.
The Steps
I will gather the best and the brightest people from NYC who attended the summit and ask them to re-tell us the best ideas from the conference.
Why we‘re doing it
Bikes and peds are under attack in Congress. Recently, many members of both Chambers have been threatening to eliminate funding for critical bicycle infrastructure. We need to strategize here in New York.
