the project

With your generous donations, we hope to provide over 100 BEE WELL care packages for low-to moderate-income residents and front-line workers residing within the 48214 zipcode. These care packages will consist of basic need items, from face mask, hand sanitizer, to a small meal and our delcisiouly dope Detroit Hives honey.

the steps

Our first step is to post a distirubution flyer for the community to provide curb side pick up. Once we have a confirmed list of attendees we will beign prepartions for our care package. This first step will begin April 27th

Maryetter Mask, LLC will create over 100 hand-made mask scheduled to be completed April 30th

Solo Sliders, LLC will prep and prepare 100 small meals

Together we wil distribute these care packages from April 30th to May 5th

why we're doing it

According to the Michigan state health department, African Americans in Detroit account for over 40% of deaths from COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. Many of these deaths are related to the lack of basic essentials. Through this project, we will help flatten the curve.
