About the project
Our story began with an intention to offer panel forums with the goal to bring together local artists who can share their experience, thoughts, expertise, and advice with the communities we serve through our Battle of the Teal art program. Local professional and aspiring artists see the value in keeping up with the industry trends and could use the forums as a creative outlet to toss around new ideas and perhaps forming new collaboration(s).
We also understand that there is a need to support our local community artists by providing them with the opportunities to earn their living while achieving their goals as professionals. The acknowledgment, respect, and hard work of practice needs to be rewarded and appreciated. The raised funds will be used towards providing panelists’ stipends.
After five years of growing our Battle of the Teal art program for K-12 students, we recognized the importance of bridging the junior and senior community of artists to inspire, mentor, and grow the ever-evolving art culture and keep it alive for the generations to come.

Why we‘re doing it
After so many years of serving the kids we see the importance and the value that mentors, panelists and other art professionals bring to the table…they are professionals, they have their worth, their time is worth something, their passion is worth something and we want to show them how much we care. They are part of our community and this is our way to support them.
