Barnett Avenue Garden and Compost Area Expansion
This project will better serve the community by create more available gardening space for community members, and allow us to better serve the community with a larger compost intake area.

About the project
This project is designed to expand the existing garden area as well as create a new and larger compost area.
The Steps
1. Add topsoil to the new garden space (Approximately 2,000sq feet)
2. Build a fence to protect the new garden area and help avoid erosion problems
3. Build new compost intake area
4. Build compost and vermicomposting bins
5. Use hand tools to build and maintain new garden plots
Why we‘re doing it
This project will better serve the community and remove an eyesore and dumping ground.
