About the project
We have been conducting this work for over 8 years in this community. We will continue to do our beautification projects. That assist the community members to keep their neighborhoods clean and the importance of community. We also will partner with other local businesses to provide healthy food options and education. Why we‘re doing it
Art in the Park serves the East and West Harlem communities. We are in the process of giving the community access to healthy environment practices by conducting beautification events, wellness events in local open spaces such as park. We also have conducted workshops for the youth and their families. Some challenges faced is making sure we have volunteers to help conduct the programing as needed with the community.
