These local artist will add art to existing structures, such as benches and cement garbage cans. Working with local community partners -- for example: schools, recreation centers, daycares and libraries -- these projects will bring color to places where students and youth often spend time during the summer. This art will enhance and brighten the area, just in time for the upcoming school year!

Because small public art projects transform community spaces at the street level. These projects will include benches, trash cans and planters at community locations such as schools, libraries, and community centers. Local artists will be paired with youth and families from the neighborhood to complete these small artistic transformations together. These public art spaces will be completed in time to celebrate them when the children return to school in the fall.
