The goal of Acclaim Senior Activities Center is to service the aging population, while creating a safe, supervised, and enjoyable environment. It is important that we strive at making every experience memorable for our Seniors while improving their health and well-being through activity. The activites provided at Acclaim will consists of incorporating social activities, mental stimulation, exercise, education, assistance with basic personal care, transportation, and recreation.

the steps

The initial action will be to thank those who contributed to make our project successful. With cash in hand we would search for a newer generation vehicle that we deem reliable and safe for transporting clients.  If needed we will make modifications for specific accomodations. These actions will begin immediately and hopefuly satisfied within two weeks of receipt of cash in hand.

why we're doing it

We are servicing a population that is aging rapidly and with the normal aging process comes a decline in their strength, balance, memory, and overall health. Our Center will provide the necessary care to these individuals who are unable to be left alone at home during the day, while ensuring that they receive meals per their diet, engaging with other seniors at the center, and increasing their overall mobility through exercise. This population is unable to drive because of a decline in their health. The transportation that Acclaim plans to provide will assure that our seniors are being transported safely to the center where they can fulfill their activities of daily living and reinforce their socialization skills. Transportation will enable recreational outings as well as field trips.

Original:

We are looking for a transent van or 15 passenger handicapp accessible  bus. This will allow Acclaim Senior Activities Center to transport our clients safely to and from the Center. It will also allow us to go out on field trips and other outings that will increase our senior client's socialization, mobility, and health and wellness.
