the project

Abundance of Health Intraurban Conservatory is an organization that provides educational resources on the benefits of eating healthy and providing affordable organic produce to the communities on the east side of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. AHIC will bring in garden expert to discuss different gardening topics, nutritionist to discuss the importance of healthy lifestyle changes for optimal health. We will sale our organically grown produce at a lower cost.

AHIC is asking for funds to help cover permits, soil treatments and fencing so that we can utilize our farming space by spring of 2020.

Tyleda Worou is the CEO of 360 Café LLC a health and wellness center based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Tyleda is certified in an array of alternative healing practices which include herbalist, detox therapy, crystal therapy, aromatherapy and Reiki therapy with three years experience. Mrs. Worou is currently enrolled in the Business and Entrepreneurship program at WGU. She began her quest to “Help others heal from the inside out” because she noticed a need for those within the community she grew up in on the east side of Pittsburgh to have access to affordable holistic health and wellness products and services. In November 2018 Tyleda started Abundance of Health Intraurban Conservatory a nonprofit that helps to provide affordable local organic produce to the east side Pittsburgh PA communities and businesses.

the steps

Being friendly and respectful to our neighbors

Provide as many resources as we can to help with individual gardening needs

Providing access to fresh fruits, vegetable, and herbs

Provide volunteer opportunities to those interested in urban organic farming

why we're doing it

AHIC  believes that involving individuals within the communities will increase the success of this venture by creating excitement and amazement of the miricles that unfold in the tiny buds from the trees and plants that surround them. Getting individuals involved with how and why to grow their own fruits and vegetables will help to decrease disease by helping to create cravings for healthy foods as opposed to processed foods.
