2) Order Military Tribute Banners June 8, 2020

3) City of Pittsburgh 1st Responders will install banners/ brackets 4th week of June 2020

4) Banners will hang for 4 months (1st week of July 2020 - Last week in November 2020)

Why we‘re doing it

The Hill District will be the first neighborhood in Pittsburgh to honor local military veterans and active-duty service members in this special way. Other boroughs have started a military tribute banner program in past years with a tremendous response and we believe this will be the case with Pittsburgh, PA. The PMTB project is a small way we can acknowledge the sacrifice many of our neighbors have made serving our community and our Country. The PMTB project will not only increase self-value for the honorees and their families but also add civic pride to one of the most historic corridors in America.
