We recieved so many wonderful project ideas from artists across the country! We are no longer accepting new projects into this program, but please check out some of the currently fundraising projects below.

Across America, artists are stepping into civic life and using their skills to creatively address local issues. In creative placemaking, artists act as partners in community development,  working closely with residents, community partners, or local government to help build a thriving community for all.

Are you a creative person working with residents of your neighborhood, town, or city to make positive change? Fundraise for your idea with ioby and you could get your dollars doubled through the Artists Lead! match program.

Artists Lead! supports creative people with great ideas for collaborative solutions to community needs. This unique opportunity gives one-on-one fundraising support and up to $15,000 in match funding to bring your creative placemaking project to life.

What is creative placemaking? Creative placemaking is an evolving field and practice. In it, artists are change-agents and arts and culture is leveraged to drive community change. Creative placemaking is specific to a geographic community--whether a small town, rural region, or city neighborhood--and helps improve social, economic or physical aspects of life for residents of that place.
