Allandra Bulger serves as Deputy Director for the Detroit Future City (DFC) Implementation Office. In this role, Allandra provides operational leadership. Allandra joined DFC through the Detroit Revitalization Fellows Program as a cohort II fellow from 2013-2015. During her fellowship, Allandra worked on initiatives focused on participatory implementation, including providing engagement support to neighborhoods based initiatives. Allandra has held a number of leadership positions in community based organizations including managing the Title IV-E Funding Program of the Wayne County Juvenile Assessment Center, where her work resulted in more than five million dollars in federal reimbursements for local community agencies. She also worked as a consultant at DEXDesign Associates, where she specialized in capacity building technical assistance to nonprofit organizations and small businesses. Allandra has a master’s degree in public administration specializing in nonprofit organization and management from Oakland University, and a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
