Leslie Mattie Rich, Cincinnati Action Strategist

Leslie is ioby’s Cincinnati Action Strategist, where she partners with neighbors throughout the region to create lasting positive change in their communities. She works with Cincinnatians to connect them with resources and tools they need to transform communities, one project at a time.

As a native Cincinnatian, Leslie is excited by the recent resurgence of the city and knows that neighbors are the experts about what will make their own neighborhood stronger. Leslie brings nearly twenty years of experience in community organizing, asset-based community development, creative placemaking, and youth development to her role at ioby. She holds a bachelor's in History from the University of Cincinnati and is certified in volunteer administration.

In addition to her work with ioby, Leslie leads a non-profit in her neighborhood, Westwood Works. She also sits on the boards of My Neighbor’s Place, Gamble Nippert YMCA, and serves on the Local School Decision Making Committee of Dater Montessori Elementary School. In her spare time, she enjoys making music, hiking, reading, and discovering wonder with her family.
