Karyn is currently the Program Director at the Design Trust for Public Space, a non-profit organization based in New York City. She is an urban planner and landscape designer who cares about cities and the socio-political forces that shape the built and natural environment. Karyn is passionate about developing programs that explore new ways the public understands design, planning, and public policy. Experienced in civic engagement, program development, strategic planning, and landscape design; she has master's degrees in Urban Planning from McGill University and Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and a bachelor of arts degree in International Development Studies from Trent University.
