Kathleen Dunn-Knudsen, Manager of People and Operations

Kathleen serves as our Manager of People and Operations, where she works on matters related to personnel, facilities and equipment, legal, human resources and staff morale. She is SHRM-CP certified.

Kathleen began her career as a Development Associate at The Gilder Lehman Institute for American History before moving on to American Corporate Partners (ACP) where she assisted military spouses and post-9/11 veterans in their transition to the civilian world. During her six and a half years at ACP, Kathleen rose from an entry-level Operations Associate to become Vice President, helping to manage many aspects including hiring, special projects, human resources, information technology and operations.

She is a native of Brooklyn, NY where she continues to live with her husband and daughter. She is a graduate of St. John’s University where she obtained a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Fordham University where she received an M.A. in Political Science with a focus on Comparative Politics. Kathleen enjoys reading, cooking, baking, spending time with her family and has a passion for the work of nonprofit organizations and for creating ripples of hope for change in communities.
