Share Your Idea

Our ioby community is full of helpers. Neighborhood leaders, unofficial mayors of the block, people like you who have always stepped up to do what’s right and to lend a hand. We know that many of you are now trying to figure out how to step up to support your neighbors. We’re here to help.

The Pittsburgh COVID-19 Community Response Match offered up to $5,000 in matching funds to 2021 projects that responded to the impacts of COVID-19.

Matching funds are available now on a first-come, first-served rolling basis until funds runs out. Eligibility is limited to:

Informal groups of friends and neighbors, nonprofits that are run solely by volunteers, and community-based organizations that have an annual budget under $100,000 are all invited to submit their project ideas.

 Is my project eligible?

How to get matched? There's no application process! Simply share your idea and we'll confirm within 1-2 business days whether your project is eligible for this match opportunity. Then, you can post an ioby crowdfunding page and begin fundraising, with support from our experienced team of crowdfunding coaches. When you fundraise, donations to your page will be instantly doubled so that your work goes twice as far.

As always, please remember to follow the CDC's guidelines and your local health authority's instructions as you support your community. Putting you and your neighbors’ health first is one of the most important things you can do to offer care, even if it means doing so from afar.
