ioby believes that it should be easy to make meaningful change “in our backyards”, the positive opposite of NIMBY. Through providing an affordable online fundraising platform paired with customized one-on-one fundraising coaching, we help resident leaders fund projects that make their neighborhoods thrive. Across the country, ioby leaders have already raised almost $5 million in tax-deductible donations for neighborhood projects.
PNC's Community Development Banking program has partnered with ioby to provide additional support for neighborhood-scale community development projects in Allegheny County. With their support, donations to the projects featured below will be doubled, up to $800 per project!
Share your idea to get started!
This funding is available to any project that benefits community life in a low-to-moderate income neighborhood of Allegheny County. Are you dreaming of turning a vacant lot into a community garden, hosting a great neighborhood event, teaching an afterschool program, painting a new mural...or any other wonderful gift to your neighborhood? If so, share your idea above to learn more. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to all eligible projects.
