Double Your Impact:
ioby Detroit Match Fund

Due to the enormous generosity of Detroiters, we are no longer able to accept new projects into this match as our funding is running low.

Our ioby community is full of helpers. Neighborhood leaders, unofficial mayors of the block, people like you who have always stepped up to do what’s right and to lend a hand. We know that many of you are now trying to figure out how to step up to support your neighbors. We're here to help.

Get your donations doubled up to $4,000 for projects when you crowdfund on ioby for a project that helps Detroit thrive, including projects that respond to COVID-19 in Detroit.

From help with grocery runs to online-learning for students, neighbors in the Motor City are stepping up to offer care to one another in these challenging times—we want to lend a hand. In addition to doubling your donations, we're also waiving our 3% fiscal sponsorship fee and our $35 platform fee for projects that respond to COVID-19. When you crowdfund with ioby you'll get personalized one-on-one fundraising coaching and support so you can raise the funds you need to care for your community. Ready to get started?

What projects are eligible?

As always, please remember to follow the CDC's guidelines and your local health authority's instructions as you support your community. Putting you and your neighbors’ health first is one of the most important things you can do to offer care, even if it means doing so from afar.

Resources in Detroit

We've compiled a running list of resources from our neighbors and from around the web so that you and your neighbors can start thinking about ways that you can lend a hand and care for the people around you when times are tough. Use them to start your own project, or to plug into efforts already underway.
