the problem

All People's Garden is a community garden located in the Borough of Manhattan, Lower East Side. This public Garden was founded by Olean For, and was purchase from the City of New York. The garden is now part of the Manhattan Land Trust (group of 14 gardens working together) The garden is botanical in nature with numerous planting.

the solution

The project for which we are asking funding would help us plant the backyard area. We'll plant seasonal vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce) in raised beds. Additionally, some of this budget will go to buying bricks to lay out paths between the beds.

the steps

First we'll install the raised beds and plant the seasonals. Then we'll lay out brick paths between the beds.
