There aren't many places to get healthy organic produce on the LES. This is an opportunity for students to learn about growing food and healthy eating.
EarthMatter will enclose a 35' x 100' designated space on the south end of Governor's Island in order to create an public composting demonstration center.
Join ioby this Saturday to hike through Northern Manhattan's beautiful parks. ioby will lead a seed hiking group starting at Central Park and will continue through Morningside, St. Nicholas, Jackie Robinson, and Highbridge parks. We'll convene on the Northwest corner at 110th & Central Park West at 10 am and party at Highbridge Terrace when we get there.
