the problem
Dear Driver is a advocacy project that supports alternative transportation. Alternative transportation solutions would reduce pollution and waste associated with car culture.
the solution
We support alternative transportation solutions like cycling and thus the reduction of car pollution. Specifically, Dear Driver advocates for improved communication and listening between cyclists and motorists. Our niche of impact helps the overall alternative transportation movement by helping cycling become safer, to make bicycles more welcome on the streets, and to make cyclists more credible as advocates.
the steps
Dear Driver is currently in beta, we are testing our current solutions, getting feedback, and spreading the word. For our Spring Outreach Campaign we need to 1) gather volunteers, 2) distribute tasks among volunteers, and 3) execute tasks by April 30th 2010.
