We have been cleaning out the lot and so far we have accomplished a lot. Our current project is to build a chicken coop and greenhouse.

This project will give people a nice space outdoors. It would also create a good space to teach kids about community.
It makes the area look good and keeps it clean. It stops the residents from throwing garbage there and keeps the rats away.
Reducing the waste that our school produces. If we are to tackle the world's environmental problems, we need to start at home, and at school.
The project for which we are asking funding would help us plant the backyard area. We'll plant seasonal vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce) in raised beds.
Funding to lead more cooking classes is needed-- expanding reach is what we're looking for! Cooking classes are offered free so all income levels are welcome.
