Climate Week NYC
We all have to pitch in to meet the challenge of climate change. That's why, as part of Climate Week NYC -- a collaborative effort by the Climate Group, the City of New York, the United Nations Foundation, Tck Tck Tck, and the Carbon Disclosure Project, ioby is getting started right here, on the streets and sidewalks, rooftops and parks where we live, work, and play. During the week of September 20th, 2009, hundreds of government and business leaders from around the world will converge upon New York City for a series of high-level meetings and events focused on the most urgent issue of our time: climate change. During this week, we at ioby.org want New Yorkers to get connected to great environmental projects in their own neighborhood and donate or volunteer to get involved. On September 19, you can get connected to several important citizen-led, grassroots projects around New York City. Come get your hands dirty and do something about climate change!
